Project DOCC Houston consists of a faculty of Parent Teachers who all care for their children living with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses.
Project DOCC curriculum is focused on giving resident physicians the perspective of families managing their children’s complex needs at home and in the community with real-life experiences that are difficult to portray in a medical textbook or hospital or clinic setting. Dialog portrays how each patient has unique sets of health needs and home environments.
